هُوَ ٱلَّذِي يُصَلِّي عَلَيۡكُمۡ وَمَلَٰٓئِكَتُهُۥ لِيُخۡرِجَكُم مِّنَ ٱلظُّلُمَٰتِ إِلَى ٱلنُّورِۚ وَكَانَ بِٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ رَحِيمٗا
It is He who confers blessing upon you,1204 and His angels [ask Him to do so] that He may bring you out from darknesses into the light. And ever is He, to the believers, Merciful.
Translator notes (1)
- 1204 i.e., Allāh (subḥānahu wa taʿālā) cares for you and covers you with His mercy. An additional meaning is that He praises you in the presence of the angels.

Al-Mukhtasar
He is the One who has mercy on you [O believers] and praises you. Moreover, His angels pray for you to bring you out of the darkness of disbelief into the light of faith. Allah is merciful to the believers, so He does not punish them if they obey Him by fulfilling His command and refraining from what He has prohibited.
