Quran Habit is a Quran app for iPhone and Android, built around one idea: the hard part is not finding the Quran, it is coming back to it tomorrow. It reads from page-accurate mushaf images rather than reflowed text, it carries word by word and recitation with the word highlighted, and it keeps a plan you can fall behind on without losing.

What is in it

• The mushaf you already read. All 604 Madani pages as page images, with IndoPak (610 pages) and Naskh (612 pages) beside them, and 10 mushaf choices in all.
• Word by word. A meaning under every Arabic word, with per-word audio. The word-by-word page below says how many languages it covers and what a glossed line looks like.
• 40 reciters, 11 of them with word-level timing, so the word lights up as it is recited.
• 43 translation languages and an interface in 13, right to left for Arabic, Persian and Urdu.
• Tajweed in colour, one of the 4 scripts you can read in.
• A habit layer that does not scold. Streaks built to survive a bad day, dated khatm plans including the seasonal ones, and 33 weekly reading leagues.
• 84 Quranic duas and the 99 names, each name with its own recording.

There are no adverts anywhere, and Google Play carries no "Contains ads" label on the listing. There is no speech recognition of any kind, so the app never listens to you. Prayer times and the Hijri calendar are features of this website and are not in the app.

Quran Habit on iPhone

The iPhone app is on the App Store. It is the same app as the Android one: the same 604 mushaf pages, the same word by word, the same reciters and the same khatm plans.

Quran Habit on Google Play

The Android app is on Google Play as com.quranhabit.app. Installing it is free, the whole Quran is free inside it, and the text and the word by word are never put behind a payment. What is paid is named on the App Store listing; the Play listing only marks the app as having in-app purchases. Nothing at all is sold on this website.

This website serves the whole Quran in 14 languages, free, with no account: the Arabic, the translations and a player that highlights the word being recited. The app is what turns that into a daily habit: the plan, the streak and the pages you have left, on the phone in your pocket.

Installing it is free and the whole Quran is free inside it. Some features are paid, and what they cost is on the store listing rather than here, because nothing is sold on this website.

Is there an iPhone version?

Yes. Quran Habit is on the App Store and on Google Play. The mushaf, the word by word, the reciters and the khatm plans are the same on both.

Does the app work without a connection?

Yes. The Quran text and all four scripts are in the app and read with no signal, which both our store listings state. The 604-page mushaf, the tajweed page fonts and any reciter's audio are downloads you keep on the phone.

Does it have prayer times or a qibla compass?

No. There is no prayer-time screen and no qibla in the app. Prayer times for your city are on this website.
