ٱلۡحَمۡدُ لِلَّهِ ٱلَّذِي خَلَقَ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضَ وَجَعَلَ ٱلظُّلُمَٰتِ وَٱلنُّورَۖ ثُمَّ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ بِرَبِّهِمۡ يَعۡدِلُونَ
[All] praise is [due] to Allāh, who created the heavens and the earth and made the darkness and the light. Then those who disbelieve equate [others] with their Lord.

Al-Mukhtasar
Only Allah, Who created the heavens and the earth without precedent, is described, in adoration, with perfection and praised with the loftiest, most beautiful attributes. He created the night and the day, which follow one another. He created the night for darkness and the day for light. Yet, despite all this, some of His slaves disbelieve in Him, equate others with Him, and associate partners with Him.
