ٱلَّذِينَ ءَاتَيۡنَٰهُمُ ٱلۡكِتَٰبَ يَعۡرِفُونَهُۥ كَمَا يَعۡرِفُونَ أَبۡنَآءَهُمُۘ ٱلَّذِينَ خَسِرُوٓاْ أَنفُسَهُمۡ فَهُمۡ لَا يُؤۡمِنُونَ
Those to whom We have given the Scripture recognize it299 as they recognize their [own] sons. Those who will lose themselves [in the Hereafter] do not believe.

Al-Mukhtasar
The Jews who were given the Torah and the Christians who were given the Gospel recognize the Prophet Muhammad completely, just as they recognize their children from other children. They are the ones who have lost themselves by causing themselves to enter The Fire, and they will not believe.
