Surah Al-Anfal 8:50 الأنفال

وَلَوۡ تَرَىٰٓ إِذۡ يَتَوَفَّى ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ ٱلۡمَلَٰٓئِكَةُ يَضۡرِبُونَ وُجُوهَهُمۡ وَأَدۡبَٰرَهُمۡ وَذُوقُواْ عَذَابَ ٱلۡحَرِيقِ
And if you could but see when the angels take the souls of those who disbelieved...453 They are striking their faces and their backs and [saying], "Taste the punishment of the Burning Fire.

- 453 This sentence is left incomplete for additional effect. Its conclusion is left to the imagination of the reader or listener and estimated as "...you would see a dreadful sight."

Al-Mukhtasar
And if you watch, O Messenger, those who disbelieve in Allah and His messengers when the angels take and snatch their souls, striking their faces when they face towards them. Moreover, striking their backs when they try to run away, and they say to them: Taste, O disbelievers, the burning torment! If you watched that, you would see a severe heart-wrenching sight.
