إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ ٱتَّخَذُواْ ٱلۡعِجۡلَ سَيَنَالُهُمۡ غَضَبٞ مِّن رَّبِّهِمۡ وَذِلَّةٞ فِي ٱلۡحَيَوٰةِ ٱلدُّنۡيَاۚ وَكَذَٰلِكَ نَجۡزِي ٱلۡمُفۡتَرِينَ
Indeed, those who took the calf [for worship] will obtain anger from their Lord and humiliation in the life of this world, and thus do We recompense the inventors [of falsehood].

Al-Mukhtasar
Indeed, [regarding] those who made the calf a god, worshipping it; severe anger from their Lord and humiliation will strike them in this life for angering their Lord and belittlement of Him. With the like of this recompense, We requite those who fabricate lies about Allah.
