But those who deny Our signs - We will progressively lead them [to destruction]427 from where they do not know.

- 427 Allāh will test them with one favor after another in spite of their disobedience, which only increases them in arrogance and sin.

Al-Mukhtasar
[As for] those who rejected Our signs and did not believe in them, but rather denied them, We will open the gates of provision for them, not to honor them, but rather to lead them on gradually such that they continue upon the misguidance they are upon. Then, Our torment will strike them at a moment of unawareness.
