ٱلَّذِينَ ٱتَّخَذُواْ دِينَهُمۡ لَهۡوٗا وَلَعِبٗا وَغَرَّتۡهُمُ ٱلۡحَيَوٰةُ ٱلدُّنۡيَاۚ فَٱلۡيَوۡمَ نَنسَىٰهُمۡ كَمَا نَسُواْ لِقَآءَ يَوۡمِهِمۡ هَٰذَا وَمَا كَانُواْ بِـَٔايَٰتِنَا يَجۡحَدُونَ
Who took their religion as distraction and amusement and whom the worldly life deluded." So today We will forget them just as they forgot the meeting of this Day of theirs and for having rejected Our verses.

Al-Mukhtasar
These disbelievers are the ones who used to mock and make fun of faith and were deluded by the life of this world, being engrossed in its pleasures and luxuries. On the Day of Resurrection, Allah will forget them, and they will be left to suffer the punishment because they forgot the meeting of the Day of Resurrection, which they neglected despite having full knowledge of it. They rejected Allah's signs and proofs in condemnation despite knowing and recognizing the truth of His message.
