وَإِلَىٰ ثَمُودَ أَخَاهُمۡ صَٰلِحٗاۚ قَالَ يَٰقَوۡمِ ٱعۡبُدُواْ ٱللَّهَ مَا لَكُم مِّنۡ إِلَٰهٍ غَيۡرُهُۥۖ قَدۡ جَآءَتۡكُم بَيِّنَةٞ مِّن رَّبِّكُمۡۖ هَٰذِهِۦ نَاقَةُ ٱللَّهِ لَكُمۡ ءَايَةٗۖ فَذَرُوهَا تَأۡكُلۡ فِيٓ أَرۡضِ ٱللَّهِۖ وَلَا تَمَسُّوهَا بِسُوٓءٖ فَيَأۡخُذَكُمۡ عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٞ
And to the Thamūd [We sent] their brother Ṣāliḥ. He said, "O my people, worship Allāh; you have no deity other than Him. There has come to you clear evidence from your Lord. This is the she-camel of Allāh [sent] to you as a sign. So leave her to eat within Allāh's land and do not touch her with harm, lest there seize you a painful punishment.

Al-Mukhtasar
Then Allah sent to the tribe of Thamūd, their brother Saleh, to call them to believe in the Oneness of Allah and to worship Him alone. Saleh said: O People! Believe in Allah alone; you have no other deity worthy of being worshipped. I have come to you with a sign proving the truth of what I have brought you: namely, a camel that will come out of a rock. It has an allocated time to drink from the water, and for you, a separate time to drink has been allocated. Allow her to eat within Allah's land, and do not harm her in any way, or a painful punishment will befall you.
