ٱلَّذِينَ ءَاتَيۡنَٰهُمُ ٱلۡكِتَٰبَ يَتۡلُونَهُۥ حَقَّ تِلَاوَتِهِۦٓ أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ يُؤۡمِنُونَ بِهِۦۗ وَمَن يَكۡفُرۡ بِهِۦ فَأُوْلَٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلۡخَٰسِرُونَ
Those to whom We have given the Book recite it with its true recital.39 They [are the ones who] believe in it. And whoever disbelieves in it - it is they who are the losers.

Al-Mukhtasar
The Noble Quran speaks about a group from the People of the Book who act upon the revealed books they have been given and follow them correctly. They find signs pointing to the truth of the Prophet Muhammad in these books, and because of this, they hasten to believe in him. Another group persists in disbelief, which will result in their loss.
