أَمۡ تَحۡسَبُ أَنَّ أَكۡثَرَهُمۡ يَسۡمَعُونَ أَوۡ يَعۡقِلُونَۚ إِنۡ هُمۡ إِلَّا كَٱلۡأَنۡعَٰمِ بَلۡ هُمۡ أَضَلُّ سَبِيلًا
Or do you think that most of them hear or reason? They are not except like livestock.1027 Rather, they are [even] more astray in [their] way.

Al-Mukhtasar
Rather, O Messenger, do you think most of those whom you call to Allah's Oneness and obedience listen acceptingly or understand the evidence and proofs? They are only like cattle regarding their hearing, thinking, and understanding. Rather, they are even more astray from the path than cattle.
