Surah Al-Furqan 25:77 الفرقان

قُلۡ مَا يَعۡبَؤُاْ بِكُمۡ رَبِّي لَوۡلَا دُعَآؤُكُمۡۖ فَقَدۡ كَذَّبۡتُمۡ فَسَوۡفَ يَكُونُ لِزَامَۢا

Say, "What would my Lord care for you if not for your supplication?"¹⁰⁴⁰ For you [disbelievers] have denied, so it [i.e., your denial] is going to be adherent.¹⁰⁴¹

1040 i.e., faith and worship. An alternative meaning is "What would my Lord do with you..."
1041 It will remain with them, causing punishment to be required and imperative upon them.

Al-Mukhtasar

Say, O Messenger, to the disbelievers who persist in their disbelief: My Lord does not pay attention to you because of any benefit that He receives from your obedience. Were it not that He had slaves who pray to Him in praise and supplication, He would not have any concern for you. Indeed, you have rejected the message that the Messenger brought to you from your Lord. Therefore, the recompense of this rejection will be inseparable from you.
