And what prevented the people from believing when guidance came to them except that they said, "Has Allāh sent a human messenger?"

Al-Mukhtasar
The only thing that stopped the disbelievers from believing in Allah and His Messengers and acting upon what the Messenger brought was their refusal to accept that a Messenger can be from humanity, as they said denyingly: Did Allah send a Messenger from humanity?
