قَالَ عِيسَى ٱبۡنُ مَرۡيَمَ ٱللَّهُمَّ رَبَّنَآ أَنزِلۡ عَلَيۡنَا مَآئِدَةٗ مِّنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ تَكُونُ لَنَا عِيدٗا لِّأَوَّلِنَا وَءَاخِرِنَا وَءَايَةٗ مِّنكَۖ وَٱرۡزُقۡنَا وَأَنتَ خَيۡرُ ٱلرَّٰزِقِينَ
Said Jesus, the son of Mary, "O Allāh, our Lord, send down to us a table [spread with food] from the heaven to be for us a festival for the first of us and the last of us and a sign from You. And provide for us, and You are the best of providers."

Al-Mukhtasar
Jesus gave in to their request and supplicated to Allah, saying: O our Lord, send down to us a table spread of food so that we can hold a festival on the day it comes down to honor You out of gratitude. It will also be a sign and proof of Your Oneness and the truth of what I have been sent with. So give us such provision that will help us worship You. You, O our Lord, are the best provider.
