Surah Al-Mu'minun 23:71 المؤمنون

وَلَوِ ٱتَّبَعَ ٱلۡحَقُّ أَهۡوَآءَهُمۡ لَفَسَدَتِ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتُ وَٱلۡأَرۡضُ وَمَن فِيهِنَّۚ بَلۡ أَتَيۡنَٰهُم بِذِكۡرِهِمۡ فَهُمۡ عَن ذِكۡرِهِم مُّعۡرِضُونَ
But if the Truth [i.e., Allāh] had followed their inclinations, the heavens and the earth and whoever is in them would have been ruined. Rather, We have brought them their message,965 but they, from their message, are turning away.

Al-Mukhtasar
If Allah were to have let matters run and arrange them according to their desires, the heavens, Earth, and all their inhabitants would fall into ruin due to their ignorance of the outcome of matters and their inability to differentiate between good and evil plans. Instead, we have brought them what gives them honor and might, yet they turn away.
