A Muslim Pro alternative for daily Quran reading
Published by the makers of Quran Habit. Muslim Pro is a genuinely good app for the right person, and this page says who that is before it says anything else.
What Quran Habit is
A Quran app and website built around the part people actually struggle with, which is coming back tomorrow. Free to use, with an optional paid tier in the app, nothing at all sold on this website, and no advertising anywhere.
- The mushaf you know. All 604 Madani pages as page-accurate images, plus IndoPak at 610 and Naskh at 612.
- 43 translation languages, an app interface in 13 languages and this website in 14, full right to left for Arabic, Persian and Urdu.
- Word by word in 14 languages, with per-word audio.
- 40 reciters, 11 with word-level timing that highlights each word as it is recited.
- Tajweed colour script, 4 scripts in all.
- Streaks that survive a bad day, khatm plans, 33 weekly reading leagues.
- 84 Quranic duas and the 99 names, in the app and free on this website. Prayer times are on the website only; the app does not do them.

Why people look for an alternative
- The free tier shows ads, and by version 16.1 they are interstitials with a daily counter on the home page. Google Play carries the "Contains ads" label, their App Store page declares "Contains Advertising", and their own help centre describes the app as sustained "through advertisements". Removing them is a paid product: their tier table lists a separate "Muslim Pro 'No Ads'" purchase.
- Offline recitation is a Premium feature. Their help centre: "for Premium users, you may download the entire Quran audio recitation on your phone and listen to the recitations offline", a download of "more than 400MB". If you want to listen without a connection and without paying, that is not what the free tier offers.

Where the two differ
- On the mushaf, the difference is smaller than you might expect from a page like this. Muslim Pro has a Page view, and their help centre says it aims "to recreate the experience of reading a physical copy of the Quran". What they do not do is name a printed edition or a line count. Quran Habit reads from the actual page images of named editions, so a line that breaks in the middle of a word on page 293 of your Madani mushaf breaks there on screen too. If you already know your mushaf by its pages that matters, and if you do not, it does not.
Where Muslim Pro beats us
On breadth, and on reach. One Muslim Pro install also gives you prayer times, Athan notifications, Qibla, an Islamic calendar, duas, a prayer and fasting tracker and a community feed. Quran Habit does one job. Their reach is ahead of ours and the two numbers now measure the same thing: their App Store listing is published in 22 languages, English and 21 more, ours in 8 (English, Turkish, Russian, German, French, Indonesian, Malay and Arabic, measured 8 September 2026). If you want a single app for the whole day, we are not it.

Every Muslim Pro fact here was read from Muslim Pro's own published materials on 7 September 2026, and every document is listed below with the date we opened it, so you can check any line on this page yourself. The reasons people switch, where this page lists any, come only from those materials. Where their materials do not state something, this page says so rather than guessing, and silence in their materials is reported as silence, not as a missing feature.
When a source stops resolving, the claim that rested on it comes off the page rather than living on because it was true once. That has already cost this page a few lines, which is the point of doing it.
No store ratings, no download counts, and no religious judgement about any app. We make one of these two, which is exactly why this page tells you plainly where Muslim Pro is ahead of us and when you should stay where you are.
