Where Quran Habit differs

• What their materials still do not describe is the reading surface. Their article names that "Classic Mushaf Format" and stops there: across it, their website, both store listings and their release notes there is no script named, no printed edition, no line count, no page-for-page claim and no offline statement. That is silence, not absence, but it does mean you cannot see what you will be reading on before you install. Quran Habit puts the whole Quran on this website, free and with no account, so you can look at the page first.
• Their App Store listing gives one app language, English, and their article claims translation in 18 languages. Those are two different measures, so here are both of ours: the Quran Habit app ships an interface in 13 languages with full right-to-left support for Arabic, Persian and Urdu, and carries 43 translation languages.
• Quran Habit lets you choose what a read is worth. In Daily Reading an ayah earns again every new day. In Khatm mode each ayah earns once, so the number on screen is your progress through the whole Quran rather than a running total, and the setting shows you which rule you are on.
• A broken streak is not the end of the account. A gap of a day or two comes back after one guided reading session; a longer gap costs gems as well, and the reading is always required, so gems never buy a streak back on their own. Quranly's materials describe "Daily Streaks" and "Streak Improvements" and do not say what happens when one breaks.
• Both apps rank readers weekly. Quranly's own site says theirs "will rank you based on your reading for the week", among friends and family you add. Quran Habit has that weekly ranking too, in 33 leagues with promotion and relegation, and a second board beside it that ranks on the longest streak, so consistency is a thing you can be first at.
• Two things the page itself does. One press marks the page in front of you as read, and credits the verses printed on that page of the edition you are reading. And tapping a word plays that word, in the readers and on the mushaf editions whose word boxes we measured ourselves; two of the page-image editions have no word boxes and the picker says so before you open them. What their article describes on this axis is a "Pages" tracker that works "by keeping count of the number of pages you recite".
• Beside the reading there are 84 Quranic duas, the 99 names, a tasbeeh, and a morning set and a night set of passages you tick once and the app remembers. Their feature article, which sets out to cover everything the app does, lists none of those. Whether that is a reason to move depends entirely on whether you want any of them, and the wallpaper maker is on this website free, so that part you can try without installing anything.
• What the paid tier unlocks is not described anywhere in their materials, and their App Store list carries two lifetime entries, at $79.99 and at $199.99, with nothing on the listing distinguishing them.
