وَمَاذَا عَلَيۡهِمۡ لَوۡ ءَامَنُواْ بِٱللَّهِ وَٱلۡيَوۡمِ ٱلۡأٓخِرِ وَأَنفَقُواْ مِمَّا رَزَقَهُمُ ٱللَّهُۚ وَكَانَ ٱللَّهُ بِهِمۡ عَلِيمًا
And what [harm would come] upon them if they believed in Allāh and the Last Day and spent out of what Allāh provided for them? And Allāh is ever, about them, Knowing.

Al-Mukhtasar
What harm would it have done these people if they had faith in Allah and the Day of Judgment and spent their wealth in the path of Allah, being sincere to Him? Rather, that is the sum of all things good. Allah is All-Knowledgeable about them. Nothing about their condition is hidden from Him, and everyone will be requited according to their actions.
