Surah An-Nur 24:19 النور

إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ يُحِبُّونَ أَن تَشِيعَ ٱلۡفَٰحِشَةُ فِي ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ لَهُمۡ عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٞ فِي ٱلدُّنۡيَا وَٱلۡأٓخِرَةِۚ وَٱللَّهُ يَعۡلَمُ وَأَنتُمۡ لَا تَعۡلَمُونَ

Indeed, those who like that immorality⁹⁸¹ should be spread [or publicized] among those who have believed will have a painful punishment in this world and the Hereafter. And Allāh knows⁹⁸² and you do not know.

Al-Mukhtasar

Those who love for immoral acts to spread amongst the believers, one of them being to defame with fornication, will have, by establishing the penalty of defamation, a painful punishment in this worldly life. And in the hereafter, they will have the punishment of hell. Allah knows their lies and the outcome of His slaves' affairs. He knows what benefits them, while you do not know that.
