يَحۡذَرُ ٱلۡمُنَٰفِقُونَ أَن تُنَزَّلَ عَلَيۡهِمۡ سُورَةٞ تُنَبِّئُهُم بِمَا فِي قُلُوبِهِمۡۚ قُلِ ٱسۡتَهۡزِءُوٓاْ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ مُخۡرِجٞ مَّا تَحۡذَرُونَ
The hypocrites are apprehensive lest a sūrah be revealed about them, informing them of490 what is in their hearts. Say, "Mock [as you wish]; indeed, Allāh will expose that which you fear."

Al-Mukhtasar
The hypocrites fear that Allah will send down a surah (chapter) to His Messenger, revealing the disbelief they conceal in their hearts to the believers. Say, O Messenger: Continue, O hypocrites, upon your mockery and denigration of the religion, for Allah will bring out what you fear by sending down a surah or by informing His Messenger about it.
