وَٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ لَهُمۡ نَارُ جَهَنَّمَ لَا يُقۡضَىٰ عَلَيۡهِمۡ فَيَمُوتُواْ وَلَا يُخَفَّفُ عَنۡهُم مِّنۡ عَذَابِهَاۚ كَذَٰلِكَ نَجۡزِي كُلَّ كَفُورٖ
And for those who disbelieve will be the fire of Hell. [Death] is not decreed for them1252 so they may die, nor will its torment be lightened for them. Thus do We recompense every ungrateful one.

Al-Mukhtasar
After mentioning the reward of His righteous servants, Allah also mentions the punishment for the vile among them, referring to the disbelievers. He states:
Those who disbelieve in Allah will be in the Hellfire, where they will remain forever. It will not be decreed for them to die so that they can escape the punishment, nor will the punishment of Hell be alleviated for them in any way. In this way, We will recompense every person who denies the favors of His Lord on the Day of Resurrection.
