So Allāh protected him from the evils they plotted, and the people of Pharaoh were enveloped by the worst of punishment -

Al-Mukhtasar

So Allah protected him from their evil plot when they intended to kill him, and the punishment of drowning surrounded the followers of Pharaoh, as Allah destroyed him and all his armies in this world.
