يَٰقَوۡمِ لَآ أَسۡـَٔلُكُمۡ عَلَيۡهِ أَجۡرًاۖ إِنۡ أَجۡرِيَ إِلَّا عَلَى ٱلَّذِي فَطَرَنِيٓۚ أَفَلَا تَعۡقِلُونَ
O my people, I do not ask you for it [i.e., my advice] any reward. My reward is only from the one who created me. Then will you not reason?

Al-Mukhtasar
[Hūd said] O my people, I do not seek from you reward for what I have conveyed from my Lord and my calling you to Him. My reward is only from Allah, Who created me. Will you not think about this and respond to what I am calling you to?
