Al-Mukhtasar
When they agreed to get rid of him, they said to their father, Jacob: O our father, why will you not trust us with Joseph? We have compassion for him and will take care of him against anything that might harm him. We want good for him, so we will protect and look after him until he comes back to you safely. So, what stops you from sending him with us?
