قَالَ رَبِّ ٱلسِّجۡنُ أَحَبُّ إِلَيَّ مِمَّا يَدۡعُونَنِيٓ إِلَيۡهِۖ وَإِلَّا تَصۡرِفۡ عَنِّي كَيۡدَهُنَّ أَصۡبُ إِلَيۡهِنَّ وَأَكُن مِّنَ ٱلۡجَٰهِلِينَ
He said, "My Lord, prison is more to my liking than that to which they invite me. And if You do not avert from me their plan, I might incline toward them and [thus] be of the ignorant."

Al-Mukhtasar
Joseph (peace be upon him) supplicated to his Lord, saying: O my Lord, prison, which they threaten me with, is preferable to me than the shameful act they call me towards. But, if You do not remove their scheme from me, I may incline to them, and I will become one of the ignorant ones if I give in to them and do what they want me to do.
