وَلَوۡ شَآءَ ٱللَّهُ مَآ أَشۡرَكُواْۗ وَمَا جَعَلۡنَٰكَ عَلَيۡهِمۡ حَفِيظٗاۖ وَمَآ أَنتَ عَلَيۡهِم بِوَكِيلٖ
But if Allāh had willed, they would not have associated. And We have not appointed you over them as a guardian, nor are you a manager over them.337

Al-Mukhtasar
If Allah had willed them not to associate anyone as a partner with Him, they would not have done so. We have not made you, O Messenger, a guardian to record their deeds, nor are you in charge of them. You are only a messenger, and your duty is only to convey the message.
