Surah Al-An'am 6:112 الأنعام

وَكَذَٰلِكَ جَعَلۡنَا لِكُلِّ نَبِيٍّ عَدُوّٗا شَيَٰطِينَ ٱلۡإِنسِ وَٱلۡجِنِّ يُوحِي بَعۡضُهُمۡ إِلَىٰ بَعۡضٖ زُخۡرُفَ ٱلۡقَوۡلِ غُرُورٗاۚ وَلَوۡ شَآءَ رَبُّكَ مَا فَعَلُوهُۖ فَذَرۡهُمۡ وَمَا يَفۡتَرُونَ
And thus We have made for every prophet an enemy - devils from mankind and jinn, inspiring to one another decorative speech in delusion. But if your Lord had willed, they would not have done it, so leave them and that which they invent.

Al-Mukhtasar
And just as we tested you with the hatred of these polytheists towards you, we tried every Prophet that came before you. So we made enemies for each one of them, from the transgressors from amongst humanity and Jinn alike, each of them whispering to the other. Thus, they beautify the falsehood to deceive them. And if Allah had willed them not to do that, they wouldn't have. But Allah willed that for them as a test. So leave them and that which they fabricate of disbelief and falsehood, and do not toil over them.
