وَلَقَدۡ كُذِّبَتۡ رُسُلٞ مِّن قَبۡلِكَ فَصَبَرُواْ عَلَىٰ مَا كُذِّبُواْ وَأُوذُواْ حَتَّىٰٓ أَتَىٰهُمۡ نَصۡرُنَاۚ وَلَا مُبَدِّلَ لِكَلِمَٰتِ ٱللَّهِۚ وَلَقَدۡ جَآءَكَ مِن نَّبَإِيْ ٱلۡمُرۡسَلِينَ
And certainly were messengers denied before you, but they were patient over the denial, and they were harmed until Our victory came to them. And none can alter the words [i.e., decrees] of Allāh. And there has certainly come to you some information about the [previous] messengers.

Al-Mukhtasar
Do not consider that such rejection only concerns what you have brought. Instead, messengers before you were also rejected and harmed by their people, but they faced this patiently, inviting towards Allah and fighting in Allah's path until His help came. No one can hold back the help of Allah if He has written and promised it to His messengers. O Messenger, information has come to you about previous messengers, their experiences with their people, and how Allah gave them victory over their enemies by destroying them.
