وَحَآجَّهُۥ قَوۡمُهُۥۚ قَالَ أَتُحَٰٓجُّوٓنِّي فِي ٱللَّهِ وَقَدۡ هَدَىٰنِۚ وَلَآ أَخَافُ مَا تُشۡرِكُونَ بِهِۦٓ إِلَّآ أَن يَشَآءَ رَبِّي شَيۡـٔٗاۚ وَسِعَ رَبِّي كُلَّ شَيۡءٍ عِلۡمًاۚ أَفَلَا تَتَذَكَّرُونَ
And his people argued with him. He said, "Do you argue with me concerning Allāh while He has guided me? And I fear not what you associate with Him [and will not be harmed] unless my Lord should will something. My Lord encompasses all things in knowledge; then will you not remember?

Al-Mukhtasar
His people, who were polytheists, argued with him concerning Allah's Oneness (may He be Exalted). They threatened him with their idols. He asked them: Do you argue with me concerning Allah's Oneness and worshipping Him alone when my Lord has guided me to it? I do not fear your idols because they do not possess the ability to harm or benefit me except if Allah wills. Whatever He wills happens. Allah's knowledge encompasses everything; nothing in the earth or heavens is hidden from Him. Are you not mindful, O my people, of your disbelief and associating partners with Allah instead of believing in Him alone?
