وَمَا قَدَرُواْ ٱللَّهَ حَقَّ قَدۡرِهِۦٓ إِذۡ قَالُواْ مَآ أَنزَلَ ٱللَّهُ عَلَىٰ بَشَرٖ مِّن شَيۡءٖۗ قُلۡ مَنۡ أَنزَلَ ٱلۡكِتَٰبَ ٱلَّذِي جَآءَ بِهِۦ مُوسَىٰ نُورٗا وَهُدٗى لِّلنَّاسِۖ تَجۡعَلُونَهُۥ قَرَاطِيسَ تُبۡدُونَهَا وَتُخۡفُونَ كَثِيرٗاۖ وَعُلِّمۡتُم مَّا لَمۡ تَعۡلَمُوٓاْ أَنتُمۡ وَلَآ ءَابَآؤُكُمۡۖ قُلِ ٱللَّهُۖ ثُمَّ ذَرۡهُمۡ فِي خَوۡضِهِمۡ يَلۡعَبُونَ
And they did not appraise Allāh with true appraisal324 when they said, "Allāh did not reveal to a human being anything." Say, "Who revealed the Scripture that Moses brought as light and guidance to the people? You [Jews] make it into pages, disclosing [some of] it and concealing much. And you325 were taught that which you knew not - neither you nor your fathers." Say, "Allāh [revealed it]." Then leave them in their [empty] discourse, amusing themselves.

Al-Mukhtasar
The polytheists did not revere Allah as He should be revered when they said to His Messenger, Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم: Allah has not sent down any revelation to any human being. Say to them, O Messenger: Who is the One who sent down the Torah to Moses as a light and guidance for his people? The Jews put it into sheets, showing what agrees with their desires and concealing what does not, such as the description of Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم. You, O Arabs, were taught the Quran, which neither you nor your predecessors knew. Say to them, O Messenger صلى الله عليه وسلم: Allah sent it down, then leave them to their ignorance and misguidance until certainty comes to them.
