وَلُوطًا ءَاتَيۡنَٰهُ حُكۡمٗا وَعِلۡمٗا وَنَجَّيۡنَٰهُ مِنَ ٱلۡقَرۡيَةِ ٱلَّتِي كَانَت تَّعۡمَلُ ٱلۡخَبَٰٓئِثَۚ إِنَّهُمۡ كَانُواْ قَوۡمَ سَوۡءٖ فَٰسِقِينَ
And to Lot We gave judgement and knowledge, and We saved him from the city that was committing wicked deeds. Indeed, they were a people of evil, defiantly disobedient.

Al-Mukhtasar
And to Lot, We granted the ability to judge fairly between disputing parties, together with sound knowledge of his religion. We also saved him from the torment We sent upon the people of his town (Sodom) who were involved in a shameful act. Indeed, they were corrupt people who abandoned the worship of their Lord.
