Quran app alternatives

One page per app, for the reader who is thinking of leaving the one they have. Each page starts with whether there is a documented reason to go at all, and several of them answer no and tell you to stay put. A reason is listed only when that app's own published materials state it, so nothing here is a grievance we invented to fill a page.

How we compared

The rules are written once, at the foot of the ranked list, where a reader who has just read a claim can check how it was arrived at: how we compare apps. In short: every fact about another app comes from that app's own public materials, each entry carries the date it was last read, and where an app's materials do not state something we write that they do not rather than guessing.
