And if you [believers] invite them to guidance, they will not follow you. It is all the same for you whether you invite them or you are silent.

Al-Mukhtasar
And If you, O polytheists, call these idols which you take as gods instead of Allah who guides to guidance, they will not respond to what you call them to, nor will they follow you. So it is the same to them whether you call them or keep silent because they are just inanimate objects; they do not reason, hear, or speak.
