قَالَ قَدۡ وَقَعَ عَلَيۡكُم مِّن رَّبِّكُمۡ رِجۡسٞ وَغَضَبٌۖ أَتُجَٰدِلُونَنِي فِيٓ أَسۡمَآءٖ سَمَّيۡتُمُوهَآ أَنتُمۡ وَءَابَآؤُكُم مَّا نَزَّلَ ٱللَّهُ بِهَا مِن سُلۡطَٰنٖۚ فَٱنتَظِرُوٓاْ إِنِّي مَعَكُم مِّنَ ٱلۡمُنتَظِرِينَ
[Hūd] said, "Already have defilement and anger fallen upon you from your Lord. Do you dispute with me concerning [mere] names you have named them,382 you and your fathers, for which Allāh has not sent down any authority? Then wait; indeed, I am with you among those who wait."

Al-Mukhtasar
Hūd said: The punishment of Allah and His Anger is already on its way! Do you argue with me about idols you and your fathers have called gods when you have no basis for doing so since Allah has not sent down any proof of their divinity for you to use? Wait then for the punishment you ask for; I am also waiting, for indeed, it is on its way.
