سَلۡ بَنِيٓ إِسۡرَٰٓءِيلَ كَمۡ ءَاتَيۡنَٰهُم مِّنۡ ءَايَةِۭ بَيِّنَةٖۗ وَمَن يُبَدِّلۡ نِعۡمَةَ ٱللَّهِ مِنۢ بَعۡدِ مَا جَآءَتۡهُ فَإِنَّ ٱللَّهَ شَدِيدُ ٱلۡعِقَابِ
Ask the Children of Israel how many a sign of evidence We have given them. And whoever exchanges the favor of Allāh [for disbelief] after it has come to him - then indeed, Allāh is severe in penalty.

Al-Mukhtasar
O Prophet, ask the Jews reprimandingly about how many clear signs proving the truthfulness of the messengers were given to them by Allah. Despite this, they denied it and turned away from them. If anyone exchanges Allah's favor with disbelief and denial after being aware of it and after it has become apparent, then Allah is intense in punishing the disbelievers and the deniers.
