Al-Mukhtasar
Divorced women should be gifted something such as clothing, money, or the like. This is to help make up for their emotional suffering because of the divorce. Such provision must fall within the husband's financial ability, and it is the duty of those who are mindful of Allah to fulfill His instructions and avoid His prohibitions.
