فَأَزَلَّهُمَا ٱلشَّيۡطَٰنُ عَنۡهَا فَأَخۡرَجَهُمَا مِمَّا كَانَا فِيهِۖ وَقُلۡنَا ٱهۡبِطُواْ بَعۡضُكُمۡ لِبَعۡضٍ عَدُوّٞۖ وَلَكُمۡ فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ مُسۡتَقَرّٞ وَمَتَٰعٌ إِلَىٰ حِينٖ
But Satan caused them to slip out of it and removed them from that [condition] in which they had been. And We said, "Go down, [all of you], as enemies to one another, and you will have upon the earth a place of settlement and provision for a time."

Al-Mukhtasar
Satan continued whispering to them to eat from it. He embellished the matter until he caused them to slip and fall into sin by eating from the tree that Allah forbade them from. As a result, Allah took them out of the Paradise they were in and said to them and Satan: Go down to the earth as enemies of each other, and for you on the earth is stability, survival, and enjoyment of the bounties within it until the end of your prescribed lifespan and the establishment of the Hour.
