۞ أَلَمۡ تَرَ إِلَى ٱلَّذِينَ نَافَقُواْ يَقُولُونَ لِإِخۡوَٰنِهِمُ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ مِنۡ أَهۡلِ ٱلۡكِتَٰبِ لَئِنۡ أُخۡرِجۡتُمۡ لَنَخۡرُجَنَّ مَعَكُمۡ وَلَا نُطِيعُ فِيكُمۡ أَحَدًا أَبَدٗا وَإِن قُوتِلۡتُمۡ لَنَنصُرَنَّكُمۡ وَٱللَّهُ يَشۡهَدُ إِنَّهُمۡ لَكَٰذِبُونَ
Have you not considered those who practice hypocrisy, saying to their brothers [i.e., associates] who have disbelieved among the People of the Scripture, "If you are expelled, we will surely leave with you, and we will not obey, in regard to you, anyone - ever; and if you are fought, we will surely aid you." But Allāh testifies that they are liars.

Al-Mukhtasar
Have you not recognized, O Messenger, those who concealed disbelief and outwardly exhibited faith? They say to their brothers in disbelief from the Jews, the followers of the distorted Torah: Stay in your homes, for we will not betray you nor hand you over. Then, if the Muslims expel you from them, we will surely go out united with you, and we will not obey anyone who wants to prevent us from going out with you. And if they fight you, we will certainly help you against them.Allah testifies that, indeed, the hypocrites are surely lying in their claim of going out with the Jews if they are expelled and fighting with them if they are fought.
