وَجَعَلۡنَا لَكُمۡ فِيهَا مَعَٰيِشَ وَمَن لَّسۡتُمۡ لَهُۥ بِرَٰزِقِينَ
And We have made for you therein means of living and [for] those for whom you are not providers.672
Translator notes (1)
- 672 Allāh has put at your service other men and animals for which He provides. An additional meaning is that Allāh provides means for your living and for all other creatures as well.

O people, We have placed foods and drinks on the earth for you that would sustain you so long as you are in the worldly life. Likewise, We have placed sustenance for other people and animals for whom you do not provide.
