Surah Al-Jinn 72:18 الجن

وَأَنَّ ٱلۡمَسَٰجِدَ لِلَّهِ فَلَا تَدۡعُواْ مَعَ ٱللَّهِ أَحَدٗا

And [He revealed] that the masjids¹⁷⁷² are for Allāh, so do not invoke¹⁷⁷³ with Allāh anyone.

Al-Mukhtasar

And that the places of prostration (Masājid) are for Him (may He be Exalted) not for other than Him. So do not supplicate in them to anyone alongside Allah, for then you would be like the Jews and Christians in their synagogues and churches.
