۞ يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ لَا تَتَّخِذُواْ ٱلۡيَهُودَ وَٱلنَّصَٰرَىٰٓ أَوۡلِيَآءَۘ بَعۡضُهُمۡ أَوۡلِيَآءُ بَعۡضٖۚ وَمَن يَتَوَلَّهُم مِّنكُمۡ فَإِنَّهُۥ مِنۡهُمۡۗ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَا يَهۡدِي ٱلۡقَوۡمَ ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ
O you who have believed, do not take the Jews and the Christians as allies. They are [in fact] allies of one another. And whoever is an ally to them among you - then indeed, he is [one] of them. Indeed, Allāh guides not the wrongdoing people.

Al-Mukhtasar
O you who believe in Allah and His Messenger, do not take supporters and close friends from the Jews and the Christians allying with them. The Jews only ally with the people of their religion, and the Christians only make alliances with other Christians. But they will both unite against you. Whoever allies with them has joined their ranks. Indeed, Allah does not guide those who have become wrongdoers by taking the disbelievers as allies.
