قُلۡ يَٰٓأَهۡلَ ٱلۡكِتَٰبِ هَلۡ تَنقِمُونَ مِنَّآ إِلَّآ أَنۡ ءَامَنَّا بِٱللَّهِ وَمَآ أُنزِلَ إِلَيۡنَا وَمَآ أُنزِلَ مِن قَبۡلُ وَأَنَّ أَكۡثَرَكُمۡ فَٰسِقُونَ
Say, "O People of the Scripture, do you resent us except [for the fact] that we have believed in Allāh and what was revealed to us and what was revealed before and because most of you are defiantly disobedient?"

Al-Mukhtasar
Say, O Messenger, to those people of the book who are mocking: Are you criticizing us because we believe in Allah and what He revealed to us and revealed to those before us, and that we believe that most of you have left the obedience of Allah by abandoning faith and neglecting to fulfill His commands?! We regard what you criticize us for as a virtue, not a fault.
