كُنتُمۡ خَيۡرَ أُمَّةٍ أُخۡرِجَتۡ لِلنَّاسِ تَأۡمُرُونَ بِٱلۡمَعۡرُوفِ وَتَنۡهَوۡنَ عَنِ ٱلۡمُنكَرِ وَتُؤۡمِنُونَ بِٱللَّهِۗ وَلَوۡ ءَامَنَ أَهۡلُ ٱلۡكِتَٰبِ لَكَانَ خَيۡرٗا لَّهُمۚ مِّنۡهُمُ ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنُونَ وَأَكۡثَرُهُمُ ٱلۡفَٰسِقُونَ
You are the best nation produced [as an example] for mankind. You enjoin what is right and forbid what is wrong and believe in Allāh. If only the People of the Scripture had believed, it would have been better for them. Among them are believers, but most of them are defiantly disobedient.

Al-Mukhtasar
You, O nation of Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم are the best nation Allah has brought forward for all humanity in your Faith and your actions. You are the most beneficial of people for all humanity in that you command the good that the law establishes and sound reason promotes. You prohibit the evil which the law forbids and sound reasoning abhors. You believe in Allah with decisive faith, whose actions prove to be true. If the People of the Book, among the Jews and Christians, would believe in Muhammadصلى الله عليه وسلم that would be better for them in terms of their worldly life and their Afterlife. A small number of the People of the Book believe in what Muhammadصلى الله عليه وسلم brought. However, most of them turn away from the religion and legislation of Allah.
