And their words were not but that they said, "Our Lord, forgive us our sins and the excess [committed] in our affairs and plant firmly our feet and give us victory over the disbelieving people."

When these trials struck them, those who were patient said nothing except: "Our Lord forgive us our sins and our overstepping the limits in our affairs. Plant our feet firmly when we encounter our enemy, and grant us victory against people who disbelieve in You."
