يَٰٓأَهۡلَ ٱلۡكِتَٰبِ لِمَ تُحَآجُّونَ فِيٓ إِبۡرَٰهِيمَ وَمَآ أُنزِلَتِ ٱلتَّوۡرَىٰةُ وَٱلۡإِنجِيلُ إِلَّا مِنۢ بَعۡدِهِۦٓۚ أَفَلَا تَعۡقِلُونَ
O People of the Scripture, why do you argue about Abraham while the Torah and the Gospel were not revealed until after him? Then will you not reason?

Al-Mukhtasar
O People of the Book, why do you dispute about the religion of Abraham? (You) The Jews claim he was a Jew, and (you) the Christians claim he was a Christian; all the while, you know very well that Judaism and Christianity did not appear until long after him. Can you not see how false your statement is and the error of your claim?
