They only invent falsehood who do not believe in the verses of Allāh, and it is those who are the liars.

Al-Mukhtasar
Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم is not lying about what he brought from His Lord. Lies are made up by those who do not believe in Allah's verses because they do not fear any torment or hope for any reward. Those described as disbelievers are liars, as lying is a habit they are accustomed to.
