ثُمَّ إِنَّ رَبَّكَ لِلَّذِينَ هَاجَرُواْ مِنۢ بَعۡدِ مَا فُتِنُواْ ثُمَّ جَٰهَدُواْ وَصَبَرُوٓاْ إِنَّ رَبَّكَ مِنۢ بَعۡدِهَا لَغَفُورٞ رَّحِيمٞ
Then, indeed your Lord, to those who emigrated after they had been compelled [to say words of disbelief] and thereafter fought [for the cause of Allāh] and were patient - indeed, your Lord, after that, is Forgiving and Merciful

Al-Mukhtasar
Then your Lord, O Messenger, is Forgiving and Merciful towards those vulnerable believers who emigrated from Mecca to Medina after being persecuted and tested by the polytheists to the extent that they uttered words of disbelief while their hearts were at peace with their belief [in Allah]. Then they strove in Allah's path to make the Word of Allah supreme and the word of the disbelievers lowest, and they were patient upon its difficulties. Therefore, after the persecution they underwent, your Lord is Forgiving and Merciful towards them because they only uttered words of disbelief under duress.
