وَلَا تَقُولُواْ لِمَا تَصِفُ أَلۡسِنَتُكُمُ ٱلۡكَذِبَ هَٰذَا حَلَٰلٞ وَهَٰذَا حَرَامٞ لِّتَفۡتَرُواْ عَلَى ٱللَّهِ ٱلۡكَذِبَۚ إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ يَفۡتَرُونَ عَلَى ٱللَّهِ ٱلۡكَذِبَ لَا يُفۡلِحُونَ
And do not say about what your tongues assert of untruth, "This is lawful and this is unlawful," to invent falsehood about Allāh. Indeed, those who invent falsehood about Allāh will not succeed.

Al-Mukhtasar
Do not say, O polytheists, about what your tongues describe falsely about Allah: This thing is lawful, and this thing is unlawful, to make up lies about Allah concerning making unlawful what Allah did not make unlawful, or making lawful what Allah did not make lawful. Those who make up lies about Allah will not succeed in attaining their objective and will not be saved from what they fear.
