وَهُوَ ٱلَّذِي سَخَّرَ ٱلۡبَحۡرَ لِتَأۡكُلُواْ مِنۡهُ لَحۡمٗا طَرِيّٗا وَتَسۡتَخۡرِجُواْ مِنۡهُ حِلۡيَةٗ تَلۡبَسُونَهَاۖ وَتَرَى ٱلۡفُلۡكَ مَوَاخِرَ فِيهِ وَلِتَبۡتَغُواْ مِن فَضۡلِهِۦ وَلَعَلَّكُمۡ تَشۡكُرُونَ
And it is He who subjected the sea for you to eat from it tender meat and to extract from it ornaments which you wear. And you see the ships plowing through it, and [He subjected it] that you may seek of His bounty; and perhaps you will be grateful.

Al-Mukhtasar
He (may He be Exalted) is the One who subjugated the sea for you and enabled you to travel on it and to extract what is in it so that you can eat the fresh and soft meat of the fish that you catch and that you can extract from it jewelry that you and your wives can wear such as pearls. You see the ships splitting the waves of the ocean, and you travel on these ships in search of Allah's bounty in the form of profit, which you gain from trade. All of this is for you to be grateful to Allah for the favors He has given you and to worship Him alone.
