And those who join that which Allāh has ordered to be joined637 and fear their Lord and are afraid of the evil of [their] account,

Al-Mukhtasar
They are the ones who maintain everything that Allah commanded them to maintain, like keeping the ties of kinship. They are in awe of Allah, inspiring them to fulfill His commands and avoid His prohibitions. They fear Allah will hold them accountable for what they have done in sin, for any person scrutinized in their reckoning will perish.
